Alternative to Everol Sequi

Have been on Everol Sequi for a year, overall it’s helping and the first two weeks of the month on the Everol 50 patch I feel great but I’m really struggling with the two weeks of Conti? Literally feel my mood change and take a dive within a couple of hours of staring the conti patches and then feel low, unmotivated and very irritable until I start back on the 50 patches. I’ve been taking vitamin d and b which has helped ease the symptoms a bit but still feeling low really. Currently on annual leave and was so looking forward to cracking on with house and garden plans but so far I’m a sluggish lump who can’t get motivated.

Is there an alternative? At the moment it’s almost worth it to have two weeks where I feel great but realistically spending half the month feeling this way isn’t sustainable. I’m 47 and peri

You could ask to try a more "natural" progesterone, such as Utrogestan and then just have Evorel 50 as the oestrogen. I think if you're in peri you only take the Utrogestan for part of the month (am post, so don't know). Conti just gave me headaches which didn't resolve after a few months and I eventually ended up on Utro which has been fine for me.

Thank you that’s really helpful. Just needed an idea of what might be an option the GP who prescribed my HRT originally didn’t really seem that well informed. Might be I can see someone different but it’s good to have an idea of what to ask for.
