50 years old.
On mini pill.
No peri or menopause symptoms that I'm aware of.

When would you stop taking the pill?

You can stop for sure at 55
The mini pill could mask menopause I suppose

No idea re: the pill but I’ve been told that my copper coil can come out 2 years after my last period if I am 49 or under or 1 year after my last period if I am over 50.

So I’d imagine that’s applicable to contraception generally, ie you deffo need to be in official menopause before quitting?

My gynae says 55ish. He's seen a few women pregnant in their early fifties who thought it wasn't possible.

Thanks. I've no way to know if I am still having periods or not, so I'll stick with the mini pill until I'm 55 I think.
