Lowering Evorel dose

Has anyone done this & found it’s helped level out anxiety & moods?
Im 46 have a mirena & 75mg evorel patch.
Ive got a small fibroid & recently developed a few breast cysts, one of which I had to have drained. I’ve noticed over the last few months a tearful, anxious feeling has crept in which coincided with the above. GP said I deffo don’t need more oestrogen as I have no bleeds or sweats, but I may benefit from reducing my patch down.

I took my evorel from 75 to 50 with no ill effects. Bleeding has lessened and boobs are no longer swollen and sore. I have utrogestan for my progesterone and am fine on this. Mirena made me depressed.

You can cut your patch and see

but the same symptoms for high estrogen are for low estrogen as well 😂

so I'd keep that bit you cut off in case you find you need to increase instead

I think i’ll have a play about with it & see. I’ve still got some 50 in the cupboard.

GP said I’d be having sweats & bleeding if it was low. But if high cystic breast lumps & fibroids are common. So confusing.
