Heavy feeling in abdomen (Mirena and Evorel)

I’ve had a Mirena for a couple of years, and am on Evorel 75 mostly to treat palpitations and some mild anxiety. Works well.

I haven’t had a period in over a year (this is due to the Mirena rather than full menopause) and had got used to not having the fluctuations in how my body felt during the monthly cycle.

However for the last 2 weeks or so my abdomen has felt heavy, very similar to how I used to feel before my period started. Sometimes I feel like I need a wee but very little comes out when I go. Mild ache in lower back.

I’m 50.

Anyone else has this with HRT and Mirena? I’m also feeling quite weak in the legs and tired, at my lowest moments I’m worried it’s something more sinister like ovarian cancer.

But on the other hand I’ve been steadily gaining weight and have just realised I need to lose 2 stone to be at a healthy weight. So maybe it’s just the fat weighing my insides down? 😀

I have a large ovarian cyst and feel like this. But also your symptoms might be a urine infection ?

Thanks. I have had UTIs in the past and this feels different, but I guess it’s all the same general area.
