Everol Conti patches - how the heck to get them to stay on in water??

I’m on holiday atm and swimming a lot. I’ve only brought enough patches for the whole holiday (+1), which is my first error. The bloody things keep falling off after being in the pool/sea. I have issues with bleeding whilst on Everol as it is without this! Anyone know what, if anything, would happen if I just go without for a few days?? I’m slightly worried about it being like a scene from Carrie 😬

Not sure about going without them, it would depend a bit on where your natural cycle falls without them, if at all. I’ve forgotten mine plenty of times and I don’t notice a difference.

In terms of making them stay put, I use a tattoo dressing strip - you might get some from a local chemist while you’re away, (or tattoo shop of course!) but you can also get it from Amazon when in the UK.

Are you applying cream first?
I swim daily and they have to be ripped off.
Or possibly you have a faulty batch?

If you are in Spain I think you can buy HRT over the counter

@Freespeechisvital that’s interesting. I always put them on dry, cream-free skin, but I often have issues with them falling off 😬

I use the same ones and they never fall off. I put them on after a shower or bath but I always wait until my skin is completely dry and cool. I also exfoliate with a rough towel before putting them on, and press the patch down for about a minute with my palm.
They’ve stayed on through a beach holiday when I was in water all the time.
I do hope they haven’t reformulated them recently and made them less sticky.

I do the same as Fiction and they stick very firmly - I go to the pool most days.

Ive never had a problem with getting them to stay on. Getting them off though, that's hard work!

Same here - well, not so much getting the patch off but the glue that's left behind!

Sorry, not much help OP :-(

One of those old fashioned plasters over the patch?
You know the ones that stay on through everything and leave a gluey mess eventually.

Or buy some more, you can buy it otc in Spain I'm fairly sure.
