Hi.
I've juat had the mirena coil inserted.
I'm 46 and the fatigue I am experiencing is killing me. I've piled on 4 stone over the last couple of years and seriously lack motivation.
I'm on 20mg of lexapro also.
Has anyone found the mirena helped at all with these symptoms?

Thanks.

No, not for fatigue. I’d take vitamin B complex for that, and add in vitamin D3 with K2.

Is your Mirena for heavy periods or part of HRT?
It certainly won't help fatigue.

What is Lexapro? Is it an antidepressant? If so, aren't they known to often cause weight gain?

TBH the fatigue is most likely linked to your weight gain because it's putting your body under a huge strain all the time. Can your GP direct you to support to help you lose weight?
