Brand new to HRT

Hi! Can anyone advise me please?

I've been prescribed Utrogesten tabs and Evorel patches. I know I'm supposed to use them together but what about starting out?

The Utrogesten states to take day 15 to 28 of your cycle and the patches once I start my period. Problem is my periods are irregular so I may end up on day 35 ish before I start it.

As I'm currently on day 25 do I start the tablets for 3 days and use the patch once my period starts (hopefully sooner rather than later) or do I keep the tablets going until my period starts and then stop them when I start the patch?

I didn't think to ask the GP and now I'm confused! Thanks for any help!

You can start any day you like. I started day 5 of my period as that's when I collected my HRT.

Then wait for 15 days and take the utro on the same date each month. Irrespective of bleeding.

Eventually you will bleed after the utro, not on your natural cycle.
