Is this peri? 2 late periods

I'm 42. I had a period that was 2 weeks late a few months ago and now I am 12 days late and still no period. No other symptoms. Periods have got heavier but less painful with each child I've had so now I get very little pain but use a super plus tampon, night time pad and period pants and change every 1-2 hours because that's the only way I don't get leaks. Worried that this is peri and periods are going to get worse. I'm too scared to get the coil because of previous birth trauma and c-section without consent.

That’s the age things went haywire with my periods. Sometimes late, always flooding, sometimes 2 periods in one month -it was awful. The coil actually made me bleed continuously and wasn’t the miracle cure some women find it to be so I’d never recommend it to anyone anyway tbh.

Thank you. I was hoping that they had just stopped and I was going to have a symptomless menopause but my period turned up and it's heavier than ever which always happens when it's late. So annoying.
