Mini hot flushes?

I'm 47 and still have regular- ish periods. I have skipped a couple and sometimes they are closer together.
Recently I have been getting hot suddenly and needed to pull off the covers in bed, or taken off my cardigan etc. it's not intense though, I don't get red or sweaty, but it does come on quite suddenly and then go away again.
Is this how hot flushes begin? Will they progress and more intense?

I'm 46 and have been having the same. More of a fleeting warm flush. A friend of mine said that's all she had and now she's fine. My mum unfortunately had full on hot flushes so I'm expecting mine to get worse. I have lots of other symptoms as well though so im definitely peri.

I'm 55 and have the same. 3 or 4 times during the day or night. Lasts for up to 5 minutes but like you, just get really hot. No sweating, no red face.

47 here and I started perimenopause at 43! My symptoms started with weight gain around the middle and mood swings / depression.

Never experienced full on hot flashes but in the early days (pre HRT) I had instances of weirdly hot feet! Out of nowhere, just suddenly felt that my feet were on fire. Lasted just a few minutes at a time.

I guess everyone experiences it differently! 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m 46 and having the same. Short hot bursts, like the temperature inside me has been turned up, but no sweating or flushing. They last for a couple of minutes but I get loads of them throughout the day and night. During the day, if I’m busy, I hardly notice them but they’ve been waking me in the night. I started on a herbal supplement with sage and macca a couple of weeks ago and think it seems to be helping.

I'm 48 and this is happening to me. In fact I came looking for this board today to ask this question. It comes and goes so suddenly, but no redness etc. Just a sudden heat. It's happening a lot at night for me, waking up really hot, kicking the duvet off, and then getting too cold. It's quite hard to sleep at the moment.

I am coming up to 51 and had similar, usually during stressful times, over the past few years. This past winter it escalated to full on hot flashes several times a night. The supplement Menopace Plus completely cleared them up within 2 weeks. I was amazed, but very happy! It has sage & soy as active ingredients, I believe.
