Does anyone know how much gel is in the testosterone sachets? I’m sure I read it on her somewhere that it’s useful to draw it up into a syringe to get the dose and divide by 8. I’m not sure what size syringe to get

Yes you have to use 1/8 of a sachet. There is very little in each one. I’m afraid I don’t have a pack just now to look but it’s less than a half teaspoonful. It’s easy to measure out by eye in my opinion, I just do a little smear of it.

Ok thanks. Just thought a syringe would be easier!

I;ve tried the whole tiny syringe thing but I found it not worth the faff and mess. (I have access to all sorts of sizes of syringe, used a 5ml one). Just mark the date you start, work out the date of the last dose, and judge it by eye as you go along.

The pharmacist wanted to discuss this with me in detail in a small chemist in front of everyone.

I was not impressed!!!

I guess as long as you make it 8 days with roughly the same amount then all is well as you won't be overdosing.

Was anyone given any advice on wear to place it 🤷🏽‍♀️

Applecrumble24 · 06/07/2024 17:34

@RandomMess anywhere you don’t mind a bit of extra hair?! I understand that can be a side effect.
I’m using it on the top of my thigh

I suggest not over thinking it.
Petit pois size is what I aim for.

Some weeks I eke it out to 9 days, other weeks it's gone in 6 or 7.

Ive still only gone from 0.04 to 0.08 in 9 months of using it.

No hair growth or other side effects.

@Droolylabradors
Is it having the dreaded desired effect?

It has done. But I'm waiting for gynae surgery so whilst I want sex, I also don't want sex!!!

You are overthinking it a bit OP. No syringe necessary. Just use a pea size amount and it lasts about a week. I’ve been keeping all my empties to tally up to make sure I’m not overdoing it. I apply it somewhere different each time.
