Does this sound like Peri?

I had a phone appointment with GP a few days ago. Explained my ongoing symptoms and she agreed they could well be peri but they all overlap with anxiety, stress, depression and IBS.
My symptoms discussed were;

Agitation
Health Anxiety
Low mood
Trouble sleeping
Occasional night sweats or burning up immediately on waking up
Bloating
Brain fog/memory problems
Fatique
Light periods for 5 months
Missed period this month
Constant low level period type pain

In recent months I had an awful taste in my mouth that's now resolved which also followed up with sore tongue which has now also resolved.

GP has given me a blood form for hormones and CA125 due to pain and bloating. That was booked for today but I've now got covid so rebooked for next week.

My main worry at the moment is the low level pain that just never goes. It's like my period is stuck and my body is just trying to get it out. This morning I've had a small amount of brown stringy discharge, I thought this is it ! Nothing since. I'm so fed up.

I bought a urine FSH test, which came up negative yesterday (two lines but the test line was much lighter) I'm about day 50 into this cycle now, I've lost count to be honest. I'm not pregnant.

Does this sound similar to anyone else's experiences? I'm 43. Thanks

Have you had your iron, thyroid and B12 checked?

Alwayssomething14 · 03/07/2024 17:07

Thyroid checked in April , low end of normal, like really low end but still in range. I've had nodules for 25 years, pushed recently to have them rescanned and although no major change I am on a referral.

Iron and B12 checked around Feb/march I think and we're ok
