Just wanted to post my experience here in case anyone else forgets to take their HRT with them when they go on holiday to Spain 🙄
I had my estrogen gel but forgot the progesterone capsules. Went into local pharmacy, explained in simple English and sign language that I had gel (points to gel) but left progesterone in London.
The lovely pharmacist lady asked what dosage I needed so I showed her the prescription on my NhS app. She went to a drawer, took out the Spanish equivalent of Ultrogestan and said €5 euros please. And that was it!
I had been panicking that I would need an emergency doctors appointment, or that it would be really expensive, but it couldn’t have been easier.
