HRT can I delay period

I use estrogel and Utrogestan day 15-26. I’m on day 13 of cycle, if I do as usual and use Utrogestan 15-26 I’ll have a period day 28ish just as I’m off to Barcelona for a long weekend. Wondering whether to:
A) start it earlier and have bit less than usual to get a period out the way before I go? Or
B) delay to day 16/17 and just take it right through the weekend to delay period instead??

I have an estrogen patch for 8 weeks followed by medroxyprogesterone for two weeks, followed by a bleed, this is under a specialist menopause specialist.

There is an approved HRT called Tridestra, it’s tablet form and you don’t have a bleed for 3 months.

I have read that research has found that it’s ok to take unopposed estrogen for up to 6 months.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it, just do what fits in with your holiday and back to your usual routine afterwards 🤗

you can delay your period by not starting the Utrogestan until after your weekend away
