HRT gel and frequent showers?

I didn't think to ask GP.

I've just switched from patches to gel because the patches don't stay on very well when I run, I think a mixture of the sweat and the friction of the skin against clothing.

So, GP has switched me to gel, but, also becuase of my running, if often shower twice a day, sometimes 3 times. Does that matter?

I understood that it has all been absorbed into the skin within an hour.

I apply the gel immediately before bed.

I’ve just started on the gel and apply it before bed so there’s no danger of washing it off.

Yes that works, as long as it doesn't matter if I shower when I get up, which it sounds like it doesn't.
