Enrol 50

Hi I've recently started these as I was on sequei , I was really struggling with tiredness and my whole body aching , as I still have a womb they gave also prescribed progesterone daily , just a quick question I was due my period on sequi and doc told me to start everol 50 straightaway which I did & got my period the next day, how long will I bleed for sorry I'm new to evorel 50 & so used to sequi so thought I'd ask??

Any change to your HRT can start a bleed which usually settles fairly quickly. Evorel 50 is both oestrogen and progesterone. Have they taken you off the P you were on previously. A sudden dip will bring on a bleed if you’ve stopped taking it.

They took me off the evorel sequi (2 different patches) and put me on evorel 50 patches only along side taking oral progesterone tablets daily at night

I started the evorel 50 on weds so I've been taking progesterone at night 100mg tablet form instead , today I have changed my patch again with what the box says so I'm hoping the bleeding stops soon as I fly to tunisia tomorrow (typical to happen when I'm going away) doc said I have to take the progesterone at night now as I still have my womb so I was told I change the patch twice a wk & take the tablets every night continuously with no break

If I were you and going away tomorrow, I’d take an extra progesterone today to try and stem the bleeding. Whenever I bleed they increase my progesterone until it stops. Have a lovely holiday!

Can I do that then just take a extra tablet? Sorry I've not taken tablet form before , when I told the doc I was due on she said I cudnt take northisterine like I would normally to stop it before my holiday so if I take 2 progesterone tablets tonight will that help it stop & thanks 😊

I don't think this is correct. Evorel 50 is just estradiol, so just oestrogen, it doesn't contain progesterone.

Yes the evorel 50 is just estradiol that's why doc said i have to take 100mg progesterone daily once everynight along side it , I will just have to hope my period is a short one & not end up bleeding all the way through as I know that can also happen when u change hrt in the first few mths
