Normal fluctuations or start of peri?

I am 39 and have had one ovary and one tube surgically removed, my cycles have gone a bit haywire recently. Is this unusual enough activity though to think it could be the start of peri? Or as I'm ovulating monthly is this nothing to worry about. I've also had some sleep disturbance and severe irritability that lasts a few days to a week then goes away for a while.

I had an ovary removed in my teens. 5 pregnancies and e babies since, mid forties now and no sign of perimenopause yet.

My understanding is that the remaining ovary does all the work and that many studies have proven that women with one ovary can expect to have anaverage age of menopause one year earlier (50 rather than 51).
