Stopping combined HRT after 3 Weeks

I was apprehensive to begin with and haven’t felt comfortable in taking HRT. I initially wanted to alleviate the vaginal dryness but is now concerned about growth in my fibroids which have been dormant for 7 years since being in the menopause. Is there a risk of stopping the HRT? Can I just use alternatives to manage bone density etc, alongside a topical remedy for vagina dryness?

Do you have a risk factor for loss of bone density?
There are no effective over the counter or herbal options. Exercise and diet can help but aren't enough on their own if you have bone loss already.
There are drugs for women with diagnosed osteoporosis.

Were you using HRT for that or for symptoms?

HRT may not make your fibroids grow. It's not a 'given'.

It's a far lower dose than our own levels (before menopause.)

You can stop combined continuous HRT at any time.
If it was a cyclical type you have to complete a cycle.

I’ve not been tested for or aware of having a high risk of bone density. Something I could speak to my consultant about. I’ve lived with the hot flushes for seven years and it’s not an unbearable issue for me. I decided mainly to try HRT for the vagina dryness. I know that there’s alternatives for that so maybe try something else. It’s just getting something that I feel comfortable with. At present, symptoms of lower abdomen pain and swollen ankles and feet, doesn’t make me feel comfortable.
