Is it dangerous to take too much Utrogestan?
I’m 49, peri and still having regular periods. Started cyclical progesterone 2 years ago and last year changed to continuous: 1mg Sandrena and 100mg Utrogestan every day. Symptoms flaring again so GP has advised 1.5mg sandrena and 200mg Utrogestan every day. I’ve never had any blood tests so don’t know my levels, I seem to tolerate Utrogestan ok but I’m just concerned that 200mg seems a lot every day for 1.5 Sandrena . Is it possible to take too much? Is it dangerous to take too much ?? Should I just take the 200mg and see how I feel or should I question the dosage with GP? Thanks for any advice !

I've been on that dose of both of those for nearly a year, with no ill-effects.

If your doctor thinks you need it, don't worry about taking it.
