Mini pill and period pain

I'm on the mini pill and have been for many years. I don't have any bleeding whatsoever on this pill. I take it religiously each day. This last few days I feel like I'm going to get my period, stomach cramps, Irritable, headache and really sore breasts and nipples. No bleeding as yet though. It's quite alarming having not had these symptoms for years. I have no idea why this could be and wondering if it could be linked to the perimenopause as I've had various symptoms of that the last few months. Ideas anyone? Opinions and similar experiences?
Thank you

If you have loose stools this can stop the pill working. I don’t really understand why as I’ve not had metformin, weight loss medication, levothyroxine (some doses can be the same size as ruddy pill) rejected in some manner but the pill can absolutely fail.

I’m on desogestel (Cerezette) and have recently had that fail in combination with the mirena coil (sick of hearing how it takes everyone’s periods away it certainly hasn’t here just made periods sympathetic but my understanding is all you need is loose/mushy/runny stools and absorption of the pill is then deeply effected.

From what I've read on threads on here is that the how the mini pill or merina affects you often changes on the journey through peri-menopause. So side effects can start to happen, even after someone had been fine on it for years. Although, it's efficiency as birth control isn't reduced.

I'm currently on the mini pill to try and reduce annoying aspects of peri, I'm aware this may only be a short term solution.
