I've taken a blue tablet thing but it's not worked.
I have just popped some ovestin up there.
Is it just perimenopause?
So uncomfortable 😣

Have you had your blood sugar tested?

I had trouble with this recently. GP did all the tests and couldn’t find anything wrong, insisted it must be menopause.

So I paid to see a private doctor and he said no, menopause wouldn’t affect you that suddenly. If it was menopause it would slowly get more sore over a very long period, and would probably feel dry as well. You wouldn’t go from being fine to being in proper pain in a short space of time.

Anyway he said it must be either UTI, thrush or BV. I had tested negative for them all but he said the tests aren’t reliable, so let’s treat all three and one of them must work.

So I had antibiotics, oral thrush pill and a couple of pessaries, followed by 7 days of Balance Activ gel. One of them has knocked it on the head, not sure which. So clearly the tests which said I didn’t have any of those things were wrong!

What's balance active gel?

It’s supposed to re balance your vaginal bacteria and cure BV. You can buy it over the counter, you put it in every night for 7 nights.

Ah ok thanks.
I'm still feeling crappy this pm. Going to try to get some antibiotics tomorrow.
