Help please

Hi Everyone
My doctor prescribed
Geprelix 100 mg soft capsules 2 at night and Oestrogel in the morning.
O have read so much information and the more I read the more confused I’m .
I’am really worried starting taken this after reading the side effects.
I am 50 years old and I’m struggling sleeping plus all other symptoms that come with it and feeling extremely exhausted.
Anyone is taking the same brand? How is the side effects how do you feel?
I already feel bad as it is I’m struggling with sleep and tiredness I don’t want to take something that is going to make me feel worse then I am already .
I am very grateful if you share your experience with me .

Hi @annalourenzo Don’t be worried. Remember just about every single medication we are given has a list of scary side effects, which are usually very rare.

Ive been on oestrogel 2 years and progesterone capsules (just different brand from yours, probably exactly same thing) 2 years as well.
They have helped greatly with my meno symptoms and I haven’t had any side effects from them. I had a period of gynae issues last Sept to Feb, but this seems to have largely resolved, from my stopping the minipill and adopting a healthier lifestyle (currently working on all this).

Give it all a try for a couple of months and see how it goes. Ask away if you want to know anything in particular about taking them, though we all differ of course!
