What’s the difference between the estrogen patches you have when you’re on Evorel Sequi and Evorel 50

I’m currently taking Evorel sequi, the estrogen patches say they are estrodiolhemihydrate. I used to have Evorel 50 patches which I took for two weeks and then took oral progesterone (I’ve forgotten the precise name). The Evorel 50 patches that I have left say they are Estradiol. Are the two patches actually the same, just labelled differently, or are they different? I’m asking as I have some of the old patches left and I wondered if I can use them. Both patches are 50’s.

Just to add, I was intolerant of the oral progesterone, I felt terrible on it, but I feel fine on Evorel Sequi.

If you are taking sequi there are two different types of patches in the box. So, if you have just started , you'll be on oestrogen only, labelled 50. You won't have got to the ones with progesterone in them yet? Labelled conti?

When I was taking the pills, and also when I had a coil in I felt weird. It’s hard to describe, I found it hard to sleep, I was tense.

Thanks. I don’t mean to the two different patches in the Evorel Sequi box, I mean the old estrogen patch (I have some left), and the new ones from the Evorel Sequi box.

Hi everyone I'm new on here and just started the patches also. I was just worried I'd pile the weight on as I'm already wanting to loose some. Has anyone else had any concerns or problems with the patches causing any issues? (: (I'm 47)
