Low calcium and low vit D - peri menopause symptom?

I'm just at the beginning of my peri-menolause adventure. I feel like I should be waving flags and buying a new rucksack. But I'm so tired and so irritated that I won't.

TO THE POINT: I got HRT last week for a 3 month trial after discussing my symptoms on the phone with the GP. Hoorah. I also got some surprise blood tests done - as in the GP didn't tell me about those, just that I had to get my height (tall), weight (heavy) and blood pressure (wonky) done.

I got a text on Friday evening asking me to book in for alternative blood tests but not why. Phoned today and it turns out I'm low in calcium and vitamin D but still need new bloods done to check.

Is low calcium and low vit D a peri menopause symptom? I've read that this can cause tiredness (so tired).

Anyone else in this boat?

Pretty much everyone is low on Vit D in a northern European country where there’s not much sun. Lack of Vit D causes low calcium absorption. It does make you tired but it’s not specifically a peri symptom.
