Do I need HRT and if so what?

53 and have gone from really regular periods up to mid 2021, to longer and shorter gaps, now moved to much patchier with some big gaps.

Tired most of the time but also really busy and stressful life. Achy and stiff joints, slight brain dog at times, hair a little thinner than it used to be.

Doc has suggested I am peri and should consider some low dose HRT.

Should I?
Will it give me some mojo back?
Will it help the aches and pains?
What sort? (Absolute no to a coil).

Help!

I started on everol sequi last August with similar symptoms, was all good up until a few months ago. My symptoms started coming back so I'm now moving on to everol 75 and utrogeston 200mg sequi, when I finish this pack.
I just went to the GP with symptoms and asked for HRT I was armed with the NICE guidlines but my GP obliged straight away and asked me which HRT I would prefer.
Hope you have the same experience, I did a ton of research good luck.

Give it a go.

You've nothing to lose.

3 months is the minimum but more like 6 to really feel all the changes.

Don't be afraid to do some trial and error and what is the best fit in terms of dose and type (ie patches/gel/tablets etc.)

At 53 you are very near post meno as 80% of women are by 54.
