Bouts of queasiness after Meno

Every few months I have a couple of days where I feel really sick, can barely eat and have a loose stomach. I’m not usually sick. I eat the same as my husband so don’t think it’s food poisoning and I’m pretty sure it’s not a bug. Often it comes on even if I haven’t been anywhere. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. Does anyone else experience this? I’m a good 3 years since my last period and feel I’m over the worst of the menopause. Just wondering if it’s my hormones having a last hurrah!

Go and chat to your GP.

Any abdo issues like bloating, tummy stuff etc needs checking.

It's probably nothing but all women with anything like this need their ovaries checking to make sure it's nothing serious.

And keep a food diary incase you've become intolerant to something.

Thank you. I did actually have a raft of blood tests done as well as scans the last time it happened. Have to say my GP was very thorough. All were negative.

Good idea about the food diary.

I get the sick feeling and started getting it after I had Covid a few years ago. Nausea and a travel sick feeling one of my main symptoms and I was prescribed medication for it.

Yes that’s it! I did have Covid before Christmas. Maybe there’s a connection
