Gel/patches ......help

OK so I'm 43 surgical menopause.
I'm on estrogen only
100 patch and 1 pump a day of gel.
Absolutely no energy
Any advice?
Tired of having no motivation.

Ask to add in testosterone.

Have you had blood tests to see whether your oestrogen and/or testosterone are at the right levels?

My understanding is that you wouldn't have blood tests unless you're on the maximum licensed dose (100) and are still having symptoms. Then blood tests would show whether you're absorbing it ok, and/or whether your testosterone levels are ok, and/or whether they're all ok and it could be something else.

You can also do these tests privately - not massively expensive.

You might need to fight to have them done. I've just moved off gel onto patches and am feeling better, whereas my friend had to go the other way (and onto 8 pumps/day or the gel which is 2 x licensed dose).
