Muddled up with Progesterone

I'm constantly getting the dates muddled with my Progesterone. I am on 100mg Utrogestan 25 days out of 28. I try and make a note of the dates in my phone but somehow they haven't input correctly, so I'm lost off. I've read that some people take it every day. Should I just keep on taking it? (Am currently waiting for a hysteroscopy as I had a vaginal scan for spotting. I'm also on Evorel 75 patches).

Most specialist drs now have told women to use it daily and that ties in with the daily use of other progestogens (in patches and tablets.)

The 3 day break was there to allow a light withdrawal bleed but most women using 25 days per month don't have one unless they are in very early peri.

If you did want to do 25 days, the way to do it is to count from the 1st of each month for 25 days, then have a break for 3 days.

Easy to mark on a calendar or your phone.

Thank you for the reply - I'm confused as to what you mean by the 1st of each month though, as if February is a leap year, it would mean having a gap of only 2 days to start of the 1st March; or starting on the 1st of each 31 day month, would leave a gap of 5 days? Am I being totally dim?

To make is simple you need to use it daily.
This is in the NHS guidance- search for Utrogestan/ HRT in the NHS website.

If it's 25 days it 25 days per calendar month.
