Can anyone help me understand my results please? Haven't had a period in 3 months so GP did blood tests. It says result satisfactory no further action needed on my app but I don't really understand the result:

I'm not sure I have any other menopause symptoms other than I keep waking up in the night anywhere from 3-5 am

Are you under 45?

If not, NICE guidance from 2015 says no blood tests needed for women over 45, just diagnose by symptoms.

This is because blood tests are very inaccurate and meaningless.

They are done on women under 45 to exclude any underlying causes, not related to menopause.

It's not clear from what you posted what they were checking. But post menopause FSH is usually over 30.

Take that with a large pinch of salt as it can be high even when in peri meno.

Not sure why your GP thought it would tell you anything. The levels change hour by hour. You could show normal 'fertility' one day and post meno the next!

The only 'action' needed is if you want HRT in which case you should ask for it on a 3-month trial. You are missing periods which suggests peri.
