Forgot my HRT patches for work trip

hello - so I’m currently sat at the airport as I am on a work trip and I’ve realised I’ve forgotten to pack my HRT patches.

I have only been on Evorel Sequi now for a
month so this is my second box. I put my new Evorel 50 patch on Saturday but now won’t have access to the next 50 patch until Friday night meaning I the same patch on for nearly a week.

is that ok? Will I get any side effects? Sorry for the questions as I am new to HRT and can’t believe I forgot to pick them

It will be fine as a one off, don’t worry.

Nothing to worry about, especially after such a short time using them. The worst thing that could happen is that you get your period.

If you are really concerned and they're on a repeat prescription you can get an emergency prescription through 111 if you're within the UK (had to do that for a different medication on holiday myself).

If you're at the airport you're probably flying out of the UK but just for info you can get an emergency supply of medicines at any pharmacy. They can access your repeat meds and if they have some in stock can supply you with some to tide you over.

so looks like I’ll be on my Evorel 50 Oestrogen patch until Friday night. Does it lose its hormones after 3 days then so I’ll just have no extra until Friday

I think it is designed to lose its effect after about 4 days as they are applied every 3-4 days (twice weekly). The effect won't drop off suddenly though so should be fine.
