Hi all. Long story short I’m going back on to HRT after coming off in September for various regions. Back story, I’m 40, blood tests have shown I am in the post menopausal FSH range for over two years now. Last period was September 2023. I was originally on sequential progesterone but moved over to continuous after 18 months. I bleed regularly on continuous but in honesty I didn’t up my progesterone to the suggested 200mg daily as I was scared and under educated on what each hormone done. Therefore I likely bled because of high levels of oestrogen,
Anyway, I’ve had a consultation with a menopause specialist and have now been prescribed a continuous regime of 1mg sandrena, and 100mg Utrogestan daily.
im due to go on holiday in two weeks and I’m worried I will have a settling in bleed whilst I am away. Just wondering if anyone has a similar situation and if they had bleeding, when did it start. Spotting I could cope with but a full on heavy period, no thanks, not on holiday.
