Feeling depressed don’t know if it’s peri

Hi! Just turned 41 and have had symptoms such as hair loss, dry skin, periods coming closer together or finishing sooner , itchy skin for no reason I did approach Gp who did bloods that wouldn’t have been accurate as not on the day 3 of my period ( in fact i wasn’t even on a period I was just having a random day of spotting ) so those levels came back normal but estredial? Was over the normal limit.

now for the last month plus I’m so so dry vaginally like sand paper dry. Sex feels different almost sore and I cannot get wet alone when this was never an issue for me. I feel very down and embarrassed to need to use lube which doesn’t seem to fix it and I’ve tried yes vaginal moisturiser and still as dry as sand.

I’ve made an appointment to see a gp in person but won’t be for a month and I feel depressed . Don’t know if this is peri or thrush or something else ? Can I ask for the pessery sorry don’t know the name ? Should they be redoing the blood tests ? Is it worth being swabbed?

I know this is not the worst problem in the world but I already have mental health and anxiety and I’m ultra aware of my issues and feel like I’m going to be like this forever. It’s the vaginal dryness that is ruining my daily life

You are the same age as me and similar symptoms so you aren't alone.

Are you only focusing on the dryness at your appointment?
Can you visit a sexual health clinic and have a screening to eliminate other causes before you visit the gp? Then they won't be able to try and pass your symptoms off as anything else. You could also ask the advice of a pharmacist, if there is anything you can but to provide relief.
