Just turned 45 and I think it's started! Usually as regular as clockwork, this time my period was barely there. Didn't even have to use anything. Is this how menopause begins? What comes next?

What comes next?

Oh my sweet summer child…

What comes next?

The possibilities are nearly endless.

(Nobody knows. It’s basically 2-10 years of Russian Roulette, all bets are off. Heavy periods, light periods, infrequent periods, periods every fortnight, no symptoms, all the symptoms, insomnia, exhaustion, incandescent rage, not giving a fuck about anything at all… it’s all this or none of it and nobody knows which)

Could be a one off. Basically, anything goes from huge floods of blood to skipp a month, regular month, skip a month( my own story) to light ones to sudden stoppage. At 45 I missed my first period. Then normal for a few years . I’m 53 now and haven’t had one for over 2 years. The last year50-51, I missed a couple of months them regular for two months and so on and then just stopped.

Haha @LenaLamont crosspost!

I’m envious - I’ve been going through this shit for 9 years with no end in sight.

Thank you all. Fun times ahead 😳 At least I'm not pregnant at 45. Don't think I have the energy for that! Bring on the hot flashes!
