High Testosterone

Had my bloods tested to see how my testosterone levels are after starting testosterone gel (also on Estrogel and Utrogestan) and apparently my levels are 4.5, 3 times what they should be. GP plans to write to the consultant to see how we should go forward but to be honest I'm panicking I've done myself damage.

Has anyone else had experience of similar?

I had a similar experience about two months ago, they just told me to stop it, so I did. I was on it primarily for libido but it never did anything for that.. sighhh. I'm no doctor but I think you should be fine, my dr told me to carry on taking it until she'd spoken to the gynecologist which took about two weeks. I was more scared about how I'd feel in myself by not taking it anymore but touch wood I seem okay, if a bit ragey, but I just put that down to the stage we're going through and needing some sun and heat 😊

Yeah, that's why I was on it and it was helping. Not worth it if in the long run I suppose. 😆

Don’t worry. Mine’s 6.8! I’ve got an implant so I’ve just got to ride it out until it wears off. It has done nothing to improve my libido either, just made me STARVING hungry all the time.

Just stop putting the gel on. Your levels will drop fairly quickly.

Bloody hell that's high! I feel weirdly better now. I only need to apply it twice a week but I've already skipped one dose. I've got to apply it to the skin on my stomach and I noticed this morning I've got bloody hair growing. Boke. 😆
