I'm 46 and starting to get some menopause symptoms.

The biggest issue being the insomnia. I need to get on top of this as I run my own very business and I really struggle without a good nights sleep. I am trying out some things such as Magnesium and other supplements I have found recommended on here.

Is HRT a one way street? If I start it, can I change my mind if it doesn't help?

Will I put on weight with HRT? I've struggled all my life with my weight and I have managed to recently lose a large amount of it and am desperate not to gain it all back again.

Any wise words please?

I'm not really getting other symptoms yet, it's just the sleeping that is getting me.

Periods are getting closer together -24-26 days apart.

I started HRT then stopped, then started again. I didn’t put any weight on because of it, I think you put weight in anyway if you don’t reduce the amount you eat.
For the sleep I stopped alcohol, started magnesium glycinate before bed, and have a good regular bedtime routine. Reducing anxiety is the best thing you can do.
