Dry scalp, is this yet another symptom?

I've been happily on HRT for a couple of years, Recently up to three pumps of oestregel and 100mg utrogestan, from two pumps as anxiety went back through the roof.
I am developing dry scab like patches on my scalp, no change of haircare product, and wondered if this was a fresh new menopause delight?
Has anyone else had this?
Thanks

Yes!
I’d been on HRT 12+ months with no problem initially, but then spent the next couple of years desperately trying to sort my itchy, scabby head. It drove me nuts!
A shampoo word work well for the first bottle but then shortly after starting the second it would flare back up and I’d have to try yet another new one. I’d tried all sort.
Nizorel works really well to clear it but then you use a normal shampoo and the Nizorel just a couple of times a month to keep it at bay, but it’s been trial and error.

Im currently on MooGoo shampoo which -fingers crossed- is working well along with the Nizorel.

Maybe see your GP?

It could be psoriasis or eczema and need steroid lotions to clear it.

It's not necessarily menopause related as such but some women do seem to find allergies etc kick off with changing hormones.

Thank you @IAmABogWitch I will give Nizorel a try.
@JinglingSpringbells if I get to speak to a GP I'll ask. I don't know if our surgery has a GP Dermatology specialist and hospital waits are ridiculous.
Thanks again x

I've had this too. Changed shampoo to a sensitive one and it's loads better now.

Yes! Me too. My scalp feels sore and sensitive. Hadn't occurred to me it was meno related... but makes sense, thanks @ofcourseyes interested to hear how you get on.

@IAmABogWitch , @JinglingSpringbells , @Whenisitlunchtime , @mynumber wanted to update.

I have been using a medicated shampoo (not Nizorel my local Boots didn't have it) and it is certainly making a difference, all be it I've only been using it for a couple of weeks.

Thanks all!
