Using GINA/vaginal oestrogen and having sex... does there need to be a certain time gap?

Just received my "Gina" in the post (ordered from Boots) but there's no info on the sheet or website on how to fit this in with having sex... should I wait some hours after insertion? Can't be good for a man to get oestrogen on his knob, surely!

I think they must think menopausal women are just old, ugly hags that no one wants to shag, because there's no mention of this anywhere!!🤨

TIA for any thoughts/advice.

There is some guidance although mine was from my consultant (and I asked about Ovestin.)

It's not going to harm your partner, but obviously it won't be doing you much good if you have sex straight after using it.

You could insert Gina afterwards, or during the day (assuming any action takes place at night.)

And as it's only used a couple of times a week (usually) that gives you 5 days to enjoy without worrying.

Thanks @JinglingSpringbells .

I couldn't find any mention of it anywhere!

The 'guidance' was just a reply to my question with my dr! Sorry if I misled you.
