Nausea and vomiting during menopause

Currently feeling as though I'm going through morning sickness again, and without even the prospect of a squidgy bundle of gorgeousness at the end. I'm definitely not pregnant, definitely.

Does anyone have any advice? Back when I did have morning sickness, none of the traditional remedies worked, and I can't take HRT due to other medical issues.

To be honest, nausea and sickness aren't necessarily linked to menopause.

I think it would be best for you to maybe start with keeping a diary of what you eat, stress etc, and see if there is any connection, and see how you go over another week or two.

If it doesn't change, see your GP.
Any gut issues like this need investigation- it could be something connected with your stomach or bowels and may need investigating- like ultrasound or an endoscopy.

You mention other health issues which mean you can't take HRT- could they be the cause of your nausea?

The only absolute no-nos are recent cancer, stroke, heart attack, blood clots and some other rare diseases.

Just horrible.
GP gave me stemitil or some such thing to put under my tongue.
Luckily didn't last too long.
It was quite unexpected though.
