Totally real and hrt really helped as can remember people's names again, films I watched, do not forget what I am talking about in the middle of a sentence.

Absolutely, I have recently gone from being totally on top of everything at work to completely forgetting peoples names, dates of important deadlines and unable to string a sentence together in meetings.

Yes it is very real. I didn't have it during menopause but had it with hypothyroidism. Feels like cotton wool in one's brain, can't think clearly or remember things. Am OK now with enough thyroid hormone replacement!
