Advice re Elleste Duet 1mg Tablets

I am on day 3 of the 1mg tablets (estradiol and estradiol/norethisterone acetate). Am early 50s, no period for 10 months. Finally went to the GP as my main symptom was anxiety and not wanting to drive (after driving for 30 years). Am feeling very tingly and light headed. I still don't want to drive but am pushing myself. How long should I try this type of HRT? Still feel anxious and some days feel I am pushing myself to go outside. Thanks.

I think it's usually advised to give any new or changed HRT 3 months before tweaking. Like you I was started on a pill form which is very convenient but transdermal is usually more recommended as the risk of blood clots is not at all raised.

I started to feel the benefit after about a month

Thanks. My main symptom has been anxiety so will continue for a bit longer and see what impact it has on this.

Bumping this thread. Still on the HRT but now feels like my head is in a constant vice and nauseaous all the time. Have tried to speak to the GP about it who suggested exercising more and volunteering, wtaf, useless. Wondering at what point you actually stop and try to go back to the GP again to insist on something else. Thanks.
