Can I ask was it all over or limited to a specific place?

Was your skin visibly dry or did it look normal?

I’m trying to work out if my itching is monopause related . I have seen a GP and have been referred but there’s quite a long wait.

Thank you

I had some extreme general itching on my upper body, and ended up taking antihistamines (2x) daily, plus montelukast.

But I've also now developed specific itchy patches on the soles of my feet that nothing is helping - not athlete's foot treatments, not eczema treatments, not antihistamine creams, not the low-dose corticosteroid cream from the chemist, nothing. I am wondering about asking for a higher dose steroid, but it's gone on so long that I'm not convinced anything will help! I am wondering about HRT perhaps helping.

Itching can be so debilitating even though it sounds minor, it really affects your whole life.
