Changing prescriptions question

Ive just switched from Elleste Duet 2mg to Everol Conti 50 patches. I was relatively happy and stable with the tablets but wanted to switch to dermal patches as have blood clot history in the family.

Started the patches Friday night (finished the pack of tablets on Thursday night) and have felt terrible all weekend. Really painful period pains yesterday and a headache today, which is very unusual for me. I'm also feeling very low, mood wise.

I can't see anything online that says my prescription is a like for like switch, and wonder if its because of a change in dose I'm feeling so terrible. However it could be work as I'm really stressed at the moment.

I've really benefited from being on HRT for a couple of years, and am petrified of going backwards at this stage. I've changed my whole career (which there is no way I could have done before) but am really worried about coping in the immediate term if the effects are this negative so quickly. But of course I could be completely overreacting & spiralling.

Any advice gratefully received.

TIA

How are you feeling now @NameChangingGame ? Any changes to mine and I am a complete wreck.

I’m actually fine, thank you.

I'm away on holiday though, so that also helps!! I was slightly panicking that I would be away, no access to anything vaguely familiar, and in a bad state. It just reminded me of how I was before HRT, I don’t think I appreciated how much of a game changer it was.

however I’m not loving this growing patchwork emerging from the patches tho, why is nothing ever straightforward.
