No withdrawal bleed for past 2 months on cyclical HRT

Been on HRT (gel and utrogestan) for just over 2 years and I usually get a withdrawal bleed after stopping utrogestan. It has occasionally been very light but the last 2 months there has been nothing. I have felt like I was going to have the bleed... but no.

Should I be worried? Should I see a doctor/ change anything about the way I use HRT? Currently use 2 pumps of estrogen gel and 2 utrogestan pills for 12 days a month.

Anyone else had this? Thanks for any knowledge you might have to explain this... I feel like a specialist might know what to suggest but maybe not a regular GP...

Following as this is the first month I haven't had a withdrawal bleed myself and I'm a bit lost.

When I say I currently use 2 pumps of estrogen gel and 2 utrogestan pills for 12 days a month... the gel is every day, just the utrogestan that is 12 days.

My GP said that as long as you are taking progesterone, it will keep your womb lining thin so the monthly bleed is not essential. But I’m not sure she’s an expert so who would know if this is good advice. If only the NHS offered an occasional scan to check that all is ok …

yes @Justbetweenus scans would definitely be reassuring... but that sounds fairly encouraging from your GP

I had this and I’ve got a feeling if you Google (or maybe it’s in patient leaflet) it’s only a % of women that experience the bleed on cyclical, it’s most but not everyone
