I've noticed over the past couple of years that I can't be a passenger in the back of a car any more - I start feeling queasy with even the smoothest drivers. I don't particularly like being a passenger in the front either, but it's tolerable as long as the roads are pretty straight. I don't feel great on trains either.
This never used to be an issue. Granted, I've never been able to read while on a bus or as a car passenger, but my brother was the travel-sick one, not me. I even felt sick at the theatre a few weeks back when part of the performance featured someone making gurgling noises - thought I was going to puke.
Is this yet another delightful perimenopause symptom? Is it anxiety?
