Increase continuous HRT?

I'm want to see my GP re changing my HRT. He is helpful & willing but not very knowledgeable about HRT so I want to go armed with the right info. What are my options for increasing it when I'm on continuous HRT? I've been on Evorel Conti patches twice a week since October. I chose continuous HRT as I'm also on the mini pill to control endometriosis symptoms & don't want my periods to return. It worked really well at first. Mood swings, problems sleeping, joint aches all but disappeared, but over the last month my symptoms are back and worse than before. Mood swings in particular are off the scale now & it’s become really tough. Full on depression. No pre existing mental health problems or other reasons for this change. I know that sequential HRT patches come in different doses but it seems that Evorel Conti only comes in one dose (50mg). What are my options when this doesn't seem to be enough? I don't want to switch to sequential as I can't face getting my awful periods back. Can anyone help with where to find info about my options here so I can take it to discuss with my GP? I'm really struggling to find the specific info that I need. Thanks.

Hi @TheMidnightBell

if you are happy on patches just ask for separate patches and progesterone. So increase to 75 patch and take daily progesterone which is usually utrogestan. That is continuous HRT but separate. Some GPs try to add on another oestrogen patch but this is not correct as you won’t have enough progesterone in the combined patch. Have you looked on the memopause matters website or balance website? X
