Just wanted to say that as a mum and daughter going through the menopause I have never known life to be so stressful and I'm sure it's not just me AND it's not just hormones: older kids and all their issues. Parents getting old and needing help and passing away (who knew that would be so hard and time consuming). Busy job nearly at the peak of careers (somehow managing that with a false smile), husbands who are having a mid life crisis AND the bloody (ha) menopause! We are spread so thin with diminishing energy but have to cope with SO much. Sending a shout out to all you invisible warriors out there!!!!

The timing is rubbish isn't it - menopause clashing with kid's adolescence and elderly parents who drive you insane. Mother Nature should have thought this through a bit better.

I think originally we were supposed to have our kids a bit earlier in life so that our menopause didn't clash with their adolescence. I was away at university when my mum was the age I am now. I have a 13 and 15 year old and all the joy that brings with it.

😂don't blame mother nature for modern life choices she would have us child bearing very young and probably popped off by menopause worn out from babies!

Absolutely! I have a full time, senior job, a husband who thankfully is fantastic and isn't having a mid life crisis, children who are young adults but still very, very much need me, elderly parents who also need me + in laws, bereavements, a money pit house...

But thank GOD for great friends, HRT, decent salaries, WFH, nice pets, a great house and my health and that of my family. Cheers to all of that frankly!
