do I need to change my HRT dose?

Hi all, would really appreciate some advice

I'm 48. Started HRT (oestrogel 2 pumps and utrogestan for the first 12 days of cycle) few years ago as my cycles were becoming shorter and I had some peri symptoms - mainly palpitations and anxiety. Had some erratic bleeding for the first few months, then the 'periods' stopped altogether for a few months (GP said this was normal), then they returned for about a year.

Last two cycles I haven't had a bleed at all. My symptoms seem to be a lot worse - awful joint pain, crippling anxiety, very dry skin. Think I may have had a couple of hot flushes also. I feel like I've aged 10 years tbh. I have been going through a very stressful time lately, so I'm sure that's not helping. 😩

Stress aside, does this sound like I might need to increase the oestrogel dose? The lack of bleeding is weirding me out slightly, even though it's convenient! I think my mother (no longer with us) went through the menopause in her late 40s, so I'm wondering if this could be the case for me...
