Conti to Sequi

So. I've been on Conti for about 2 years now after being on Femoston. I was still getting periods so not sure why I wasn't put on Sequi. For the last 6 months my cycle has been all over the shop (bleeding for 5/7 days every two weeks) so I went to the GP. I asked why I was on Conti rather than Sequi and she said, 'because you hadn't had a period', I told her this wasn't true, that I was still having periods when she put me on Conti. She's now suggested I try Sequi to regulate the bleeding but because I'm so irregular I'm not sure when to start them? Can I just go from Conti to Sequi immediately? Do I have to wait for my bleed? I tried to ask but she said it's all in the instructions. I'm so fed up.

I would just start oestrogen only patches on your next patch change and take them as they appear in the box 2 weeks oestrogen only and 2 weeks conti x
