What does this feel like?

Suddenly I have a super sore vagina 😣. I can see it's all red and slightly swolllen when I part my labia. Feels generally itchy and bloody uncomfortable! No signs of thrush or bladder issues.

Is this typical for VA? It's literally happened overnight.

Those were exactly the symptoms I had with VA plus a very painful attempt at a smear test that couldn’t be done. I’m not sure however if it came on overnight, I think it was more over a few weeks/months. I’m using Blissel gel as prescribed by the lovely nurse who saw me and I have a follow up appointment to see how I’m getting on.
Can you see a nurse at your GP practice? I tried all sorts of different gels and creams but I needed the estriol.

Sounds like thrush. Mine started like that and then the discharge came later.

Pretty much sums up my VA too. So bloody painful, literally came on over night! Ok now with meds though!

Sounds more like thrush.

You can treat it with an oral capsule and see if that helps.
