Does anyone else have a diagnosis of both?

Just getting my TSH levels stable and now also been diagnosed with peri. Feeling rubbish - can't sleep, anxious, tearful, can't lose weight.

Any words of wisdom please with how to manage both?

I'm already on sertraline for anxiety but wondering if an alternative may be better (and may make me sleep better)? Considering mirtazepine but worried about further weight gain.

Thankyou

HRT
High strength magnesium to help sleep.
No alcohol.
Add in propranolol for the anxiety.
Making sure levels of vitamin D, B12/Folate, Ferritin are all optimal not just in the low end of the normal range (all can be lower in people with hypothyroidism)
No more than a couple of cups of coffee per day.
Daily walks in the fresh air.
Healthy, fresh food.

Sorry op, it will get better. Hang on in there Flowers

Took me ages to get on top of the thyroxine dose, they start you off really low then adjust until you feel less shite. Finally started to feel better and loose some weight. Then peri hit me and now stuck about a stone heavier than I'd like.

I've just started hrt, slept through (well, 6 hours) last week, seems to be getting there.

@BloodyAdultDC glad you're starting to get there. Sorry to hear you've had such a hard time with it though.
