does the progesterone on cyclical HRT cause fatigue

I am fairly new on HRT. Gel plus Utrogestan on days 15-28.

Not sure if it is a coincidence, but since starting the Utrogestan 3 days ago I am cream crackered. I started HRT in part due to fatigue but this is worse. Can the progesterone cause it or is it a coincidence.

I am also on the minipill for contraception and have been for a deq years but did not have this issue.

Is the coil a better alternative of the Utrogestan causes tiredness?

I get down and tired on the utrogestan weeks. But that up down cycle has been part of my life for decades

@BirdsofPrey1 are you taking it 2 hours after food and before bed as if you don’t it can make you drowsy. It also takes a couple of cycles to settle down. The Mirina is meant to be really good and also contraceptive.

@Christine0708 - yes, have dinner at 5 pm and take the Utrogestan between 8-9 pm, just before bed.
